Hey! I'm Tamilarasan Manickam

A UX and Product Designer designing enterprise systems where product thinking, workflows, and engineering intersect.

My journey started with Computer Science Engineering, where I studied core programming, databases, advanced database systems, and data mining as elective subjects. During engineering, I became interested not only in how systems work technically, but also in how people interact with digital products. Over time, that interest gradually shifted me from pure engineering into the world of UX, Product Design, and digital experiences.

After graduation, I initially joined as a .NET Developer as a fresher. But within a few months, I naturally moved toward UI/UX work while collaborating on product interfaces and frontend experiences. I realized I was more passionate about solving usability problems, simplifying workflows, and designing user-centered systems than writing backend logic alone. That early transition became the foundation of my UX career.

Currently, I work as a Senior UI/UX Designer (UX Engineer) at Logic Valley Technology, where I design enterprise and SaaS platforms for the transport, enforcement, and parking management industry in the UK. My work includes complex operational systems, compliance workflows, mobile applications for field officers, and large-scale workflow management platforms.

Over the years, my role has evolved beyond traditional UI/UX design into Product Design and UX Engineering - bridging design, product thinking, and frontend implementation. I enjoy creating scalable design systems, improving workflow efficiency, and ensuring products are both user-friendly and technically feasible.

Nowadays, I'm also increasingly focused on AI-assisted workflows, automation experiences, and intelligent enterprise systems. I'm interested in how AI can support operational decision-making, reduce manual effort, and create more adaptive user experiences while still keeping human-centered design at the core.
